Uzbekistan Economy Days will be held in Germany in spring with the participation of entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and German investors, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbek Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.
Delegation of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, headed by Sardor Umarzakov agreed on this during the visit to Munich.
The Days of Uzbek Economy will be organized with the participation of a wide range of entrepreneurs, as well as industry associations from Uzbekistan and investors from Germany by mutual initiative in the Munich and other cities of Bavaria in the spring of this year.
This initiative is aimed at conducting presentations of the investment potential of Uzbekistan and organizing targeted meetings and negotiations in the B2B format.
Thereafter, the Days of the Economy of Bavaria will be held in Tashkent in the format of business forums with the involvement of German investors with departure to the regions of Uzbekistan to reach final agreements on the implementation of joint projects with departure to the regions of Uzbekistan.
The key event was a meeting with Advisor to the Prime Minister of Bavaria, Thomas Grubber, where issues of the implementation of guidebook following the visit of Uzbek President to Germany in January of this year were discussed.
The parties discussed the progress of joint projects, as well as the possibilities of expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. In addition, they talked about the prospect of organizing the official visit of Prime Minister of Bavaria Markus Soder to Uzbekistan in March 2019.
The meeting participants agreed on close cooperation regarding the involvement of Bavarian experts and highly qualified managers to exchange experience with their Uzbek colleagues in the field of clustering.
