Sales volumes of the Azerbaijani company Tepe Safe operating in Azerbaijan have significantly decreased and have a tendency to further decline, Nijat Ildrimov, head of sales for the company, told Trend.

He said that the sales have decreased by 30-40 percent when compared to the last 10 months.

“We are selling steel doors that are made in Turkey,” he noted. “We sell these products in the domestic market, based on our customers’ orders. The cost of steel doors varies within 600-2,400 manats. Premium doors with the price starting from 1,800 manats are considered expensive.”

He added that the decline in sales is mainly related to decrease in the effective demand of the population.

“At the same time, there are facts of unfair competition in this segment of the economy when products of low quality are put up for sale without a proper guarantee, but at lower prices,” he said.

He added that the Turkish company Tepe Safe Gelik Gapi is engaged in the production of steel doors in the Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone and its products have high quality standards.
