Winemaking may grow in Azerbaijan

As many as 18.7 million liters of wine are expected to be produced in Azerbaijan in 2025, compared with 11.3 million liters in 2017, Trend reports with reference to the "Market Analysis Azerbaijan 2019" publication.
Exports are expected to increase at least fivefold by 2025 compared with 2017, according to the report.
There are 23 winemakers in the country, and 18 of them are engaged in export.
Special attention is paid in Azerbaijan to the development of winemaking.
Azerbaijan’s wine house operates in Urumqi, China. It is planned to open wine houses in other countries as well.
İt should be noted that State Program for the Development of Winemaking for 2018-2025 was approved in Azerbaijan.
