Zagatala Broiler, an Azerbaijani poultry enterprise in the country's Zagatala district, currently is not capable of increasing production volumes, the director of the small enterprise Mahammad Mammadov told Trend.
The director noted that the broiler products of the enterprise are produced in small quantities and only for domestic demand.
"Every day we produce up to 35-40 tons of broiler products, but on some days this figure drops to 25 or even 10 tons. Of course, we are interested in exporting products outside the country, but so far our capabilities are limited, and to a lesser extent they depend on the quality of imported chicks from Georgia. In cases, when delivery is satisfying, we face problems that hinder the entire production process," Mammadov said.
The director noted that the enterprise breeds broiler chickens and produces chicken meat and other poultry products.
The company uses equipment of Turkish production.
