In period January-April 2019, the volume of investments in the fixed capital of Kazakhstan amounted to 2,914.4 billion tenge, which is 6.7 percent more than in the same period of the last year, Trend reports referring to Committee of Statistics of Kazakhstan.
The main sources of investments in the reporting period are own capital of the economic entities; their volume of investments amounted to 2,525.4 billion tenge. Furthermore, there was an increase of 38.6 percent of investments into other expenditures in the volume of investments into fixed capital.
The major percentage of investments into fixed capital in January-April 2019 accounts for mining and quarrying industry (56.2 percent), real estate operations (12.2 percent), transport and warehousing (6.9 percent). The volume of investments of major enterprises amounted to 1,890.1 billion tenge.
