Production of Sefid Dasht Steel Complex in Iran’s Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province increased by 1,500 tons in the second month of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019) compared to the first month of the this year, said Jamshid Alibabaei, head of operations unit at the complex, Trend reports with reference to the website of the complex.
He said that 66,600 tons of sponge iron were produced in the complex during the second month.
He added that the problem of the plant’s supply with technical water will be resolved this year.
Some 65 percent of the Sefid Dasht Steel Complex belongs to Mobarakeh Steel Company and 35 percent to IMIDRO.
