Iran discloses volume of oil products exported from ports of Hormozgan province

Some 701,000 tons of oil products were exported from the western ports of Iran’s southern Hormozgan province during two months (March 21 – May 21) of this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2019), Head of the Ports and Maritime Administration of Lengeh county of Hormozgan province Qasim Asgarinasab said.

During the reporting period, 859,000 tons of oil products were transported via cabotage system, which is a 267-percent growth, Asgarinasab added, Trend reports referring to IRNA News Agency.

In general, 1.83 million tons of oil products were transported to the western ports of Hormozgan province during the second month. Some 274,000 tons of that volume accounted for non-oil products, which is 37 percent more compared to the second month last year, he said.

Asgarinasab noted that 255,000 tons of products were exported from Lengeh county during the reporting period.
