The German companies Phoenix Consulting GmbH and Medianet in H.M.Hermsen plan to implement a project to build a Portland cement plant in the Farish district of the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to Uzbek media.
The capacity of the enterprise will be four million tons of products per year. The cost of the investment project to be realized in 2019-2020 is estimated at $400 million. The company will be located on a plot of 74 hectares.
The newly established UTD Cement will implement the project.
The enterprises is designed to produce 980,000 tons of cement of mark M500, 1,22 million tons of mark M600, 940,000 tons of mark M900 and 860,000 tons of white cement per year. The new plant will open 1,500 jobs.
