Azerbaijani Unibank's net profit amounted to 62.435 million manats in the second quarter of 2019, which is 4.3 times more than in the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to the bank’s financial report.
According to the report, the profit was formed through interest income in the amount of 42.038 million manats and expenses in the amount of 16.937 million manats. Revenues from impairment of interest assets amounted to 57.778 million manats.
As a result, net interest income amounted to 82.879 million manats.
Commission income amounted to 7.657 million manats and expenses to 4.791 million manats. Revenues from currency transactions amounted to 2.07 million manats.
Administrative and other operating expenses amounted to about 25.375 million manats.
After deducting income tax in the amount of 35,000 manats, the net profit of the bank amounted to 62.435 million manats.
Unibank was established in October 2002 and is among the Azerbaijani ten leading banks.
