Iran completes 4 projects at Imam Khomeini Airport

Four projects have been completed and commissioned at Iran’s Imam Khomeini Airport, the main international airport serving the Iranian capital of Tehran, said Managing Director of Imam Khomeini Airport City Corporate Ali Rostami, Trend reports referring to IRIB.

According to him, the commissioned facilities include an airport operations control center (AOCC), a safety management system worth 1.8 billion rials (app. $42,800), a refueling project on two runways with a length of 754 meters, and a project for building escalators and elevators for facilitating passenger traffic in the airport’s 1st terminal worth 45 billion rials (app. $1.07 million).
