Projects' worth over $200M to be implemented in Kazakhstan's Zhambyl region(Exclusive)

Nine projects worth 81 billion tenge (approximately $209.597 million) are to be implemented in Kazakhstan’s Zhambyl region including one project with participation of foreign investors, a representative of the regional akimat (administrative center) told Trend.

As stated by the representative, nine projects worth 17.8 billion tenge including two projects worth 1.4 billion with participation of foreign investors have already been implemented in the region over the course of first eight months of 2019.

The first project with participation of foreign investors was the project for construction of aquaponic multilayer farm of Greenwill LLP. The cost of the project was 900 million tenge.

The second project with foreign participation was the project worth 480 million tenge for construction of a safflower oil plant of Kaz-Ir Agro company in the region's Shu district.

“The implementation of another nine projects worth 81 billion tenge is also planned before the end of 2019,” the representative said.

According to the information provided, among the future projects is the construction of a solar park worth 64 billion tenge in Shu disctict with participation of Total Eren company, the creation of a construction materials manufacturing at Rebar Taraz Plant, launch of the crushing equipment manufacturing of ElnurAdil Group company. Furthermore, there are plans for creation of a dairy farm of Garmurg company and others.
