The Azerbaijani AzVirt construction company has finished mobilization work as part of the biggest road project in Serbia, a source in the company told Trend.
The company will begin earthworks in early November, according to the source.
“The work in this direction should be completed by the end of this year, or at the beginning of next year,” the source said. “According to our estimates, reconstruction work will begin in January next year.”
This project envisages construction of roads and the related road infrastructure in Serbia.
The cost of the project is 207 million euros, and it is financed by one of the biggest Chinese banks, the source said.
Along with AzVirt, Chinese experts are involved in the road project, according to the source.
The company completed the previous project with partners in Serbia, and intends to cooperate with partners in Serbia as part of a new road project.
AzVirt company is one of the well-known contractors in Azerbaijan and is engaged in the construction of roads, runways, airports.
Besides the construction and design of roads and big facilities, the company also produces building materials, including asphalt mixtures, fractional gravel, activated mineral powder.
