Azerbaijan’s AzVirt construction company, as part of a project on reconstruction of the Bishkek-Osh road in Kyrgyzstan, has completed earthwork in certain sections of the road, as well as drainage work, a source in the company told Trend.
The company plans to complete the first stage of the road project by the end of this year, according to the source.
“The project envisages reconstruction of a road with a total length of 67 kilometers,” the source noted. “The project costs $41 million and is financed by the Eurasian Bank. The project is scheduled for completion in 2020.”
In addition, the company also implements two major road projects in Serbia and Ukraine.
AzVirt company is one of the well-known contractors in Azerbaijan in the field of construction of roads, runways, airports.
The company is also involved in production of building materials such as asphalt mixtures, fraction gravel and activated mineral powder.
