Medicinal plants processing to be launched in Kazakhstan's Almaty

A plant for processing medicinal plants will be launched in Kazakhstan’s Almaty region, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.

This was announced during the working meeting between Kazakhstan's Azia Gold company and German Martin Bauer Gmbh & Co.KG company, the project’s initiators, in Germany.

As reported, total cost of the project will be five million euro and some 55 new jobs will be created. Forecast capacity is 250 tons of processed goods at Phase-1 and 750 tons at Phase-2. Launch of the new plant is planned for 2Q2021.

Martin Bauer GmbH & Co.KG was established in 1930 and it currently operates more than 20 manufacturing sites and sales units around the world.

Annual consolidated sales of the company exceed 500 million euro. The activities of the company are aimed at processing, packaging and sale of medicinal plants.
