The export of agricultural products from Iran’s Zanjan province increased by 10 percent during nine months of this Iranian year (from March 21 through December 21, 2019) compared to the same period of last year, head of the trade development department of the Agriculture Organization of the province Abdulla Jafari said.
“During the reporting period, 26,000 tons of agricultural products worth $17.4 million were exported,” Jafari added, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
Jafari added that agricultural products were exported to Russia, Azerbaijan, Kuwait, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Iraq, Bahrain, Afghanistan and Turkey.
The head of the department added that dairy products, tomatoes, garlic, raisins and apples were mainly exported.
Jafari said that Zanjan province has the potential to produce and export many agricultural products.
