Precious metals prices grow in Kazakhstan

Prices of Kazakhstan’s industrial manufacturers decreased by 18.1 percent in Jun. 2020 compared to Dec. 2019 and by 20.2 percent compared to Jun. 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Decrease of prices in Jun. 2020 compared to Dec. 2019 was observed on prices in mining by 34 percent, whereas prices in processing industry increased by 0.5 percent. Industrial goods decreased in price by 20.3 percent, whereas services of industrial nature grew in price by 3.7 percent.

Over the past month, prices for fuel oil fell by 50.6 percent, oil by 43.7 percent, liquefied propane and butane by 26.7 percent, gasoline by 11.8 percent, diesel fuel by 6.8 percent. In turn, prices of metal ores grew by 8.9 percent, of coal by 1.4 percent, of natural gas by 0.6 percent.

Lead prices decreased by 16.8 percent, zinc by 16.7 percent, aluminum by 13.6 percent, copper by 2.9 percent, rolled ferrous metals by 2.5 percent. An increase of prices was observed on precious metals by 12.2 percent, ferroalloys by 6.4 percent.

An increase in producer prices was observed for cereals by 9.8 percent, wheat flour by 8.8 percent, rye by 6.5 percent, tea by 6.6 percent, livestock meat by 7.2 percent, poultry meat by 2.6 percent, pasta by 5.5 percent, dairy products by 4.7 percent, sugar by 4.1 percent, rice by 4 percent, bread by 3.8 percent, vegetable oil by 2.8 percent.
