Kazakhstan’s Samruk Kazyna sees net revenue increase year-on-year

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 30

Equity of Kazakhstan’s Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund amounted to 14.3 trillion tenge ($34.4 billion) in 2019, which indicates an increase by 10.6 percent compared to 12.9 trillion tenge ($31.1 million) in 2018, Trend reports with reference to the company’s report.

The company’s report was submitted to and published by Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

The report said that company’s total assets amounted to 26.4 trillion tenge ($63.3 billion) in 2019, which is 2.5 percent more than in 2018 (25.7 trillion tenge or $61.8 billion).

The company’s total liabilities as of the end of 2019 stood at 12.06 trillion tenge ($28.9 billion) compared to 12.7 trillion tenge ($30.7 billion) in 2018.

The sales volume of the company was 10.7 trillion tenge ($25.6 billion) in 2019, which is compared to 10.1 trillion tenge ($24.3 billion) in 2018.

Gross revenue of Samruk Kazyna amounted to 2.7 trillion tenge ($6.5 billion) in 2019, which indicates an increase compared to 2.3 trillion tenge ($5.6 million) in 2018.

Company’s net revenue amounted to 1.4 trillion tenge ($3.3 billion) in 2019 which indicates an increase compared to 1.2 trillion tenge ($3.1 billion) in 2018.

Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna Joint Stock Company is the Fund, where the sole shareholder is the Government of Kazakhstan.

Samruk-Kazyna JSC Group includes enterprises operating in a number of industries – oil, transport and logistics, chemical and nuclear, mining and smelting,energy, mechanical engineering and real estate.
