President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on supporting domestic producers, Trend reports citing the presidential press service.

According to the decree, from now on, priority in government procurement will be given to domestic products.

In particular, if more than two representatives of Uzbekistan participate in the tender, only their products will be considered. In addition, domestic goods will be granted a price preference by 15 percent, and representatives of local authorities will take direct part in all purchases made at the expense of the budget, said the document.
