The sales of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company increased by 40 percent during the first 5 months of the current Iranian year (March 20-August 21, 2020) compared to the same period last year, managing director of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) Ardashir Sad Mohammadi said, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
Sad Mohammadi noted that during this period, the company sold 120 trillion rials (about $2.85 billion) worth of goods.
The director emphasized that the company's product sales exceeded 29 trillion rials (about $690 million) in the 5th month (July 22-August 21).
Sad Mohammadi added that 133,500 tons of cathode copper were sold during the reporting period.
“The products of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company are both sold within the country and exported,” he said.
