Turkmenistan increases export of propylene polymer to EAEU member states

Turkmenistan increased export of propylene polymer by 27.2 percent to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Trend reports, citing statistics from the Eurasian Economic Commission.

According to statistics, during this period, Turkmenistan exported more than 20,903 tons of propylene polymer for a total amount of more than $18.5 million.

Thus, the polymers of propylene have been exported to countries such as Kazakhstan and Russia. Meanwhile, the share of Kazakhstan in the total import of Turkmen propylene polymers amounted to $314,95, and Russia's – $18.2 million.

Also, during this period, Turkmenistan exported 10,123 tons of ethylene polymers to Russia, for a total amount of more than $7.7 million.

According to statistics, Russia also remained the main supplier of polymer products from the EAEU countries to Turkmenistan in 1H2020.

During this period, 455 kilograms of ethylene polymer were exported from Russia to Turkmenistan, totaling $2,277.

Also, Russia exported 600 kilograms of propylene polymers to Turkmenistan, totaling $2,698 in 1H2020.
