Kazakhstan, Germany agree on several new projects in agricultural machinery sector

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 6

By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:

Kazakhstan and Germany signed documents for over $160 million for the implementation of investment projects in the agricultural machinery and healthcare sectors, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s KAZAKH INVEST National Company.

The documents were signed following a number of bilateral meetings held by Kazakh Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Almas Aidarov with the representatives of the German industry and presented investment projects in mining, metallurgy, machinery building, and medical industries.

The events are organized in line with the activities of the Working Group on strengthening interaction with German investors under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar.

“The Working Group has no analogies in trade and investment relations between Kazakhstan and any other country. The Government of Kazakhstan offers the German business an exclusive package of measures, and this is vivid evidence of the beginning of a qualitatively new stage of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany,” Aydarov said during one of the meetings.

In their speeches, the speakers noted the importance of deepening mutually beneficial Kazakh-German trade and economic relations, developing investment partnerships, and transfer of advanced technologies from Germany.

During bilateral meetings, Aidarov and other participants of the meetings from the Kazakh side discussed the prospects for the development of partnership and implementation of specific joint projects with the heads of German companies.
