Data on cotton yarn sales at Turkmen State Commodity Exchange for Oct. 2020

A number of countries purchased the cotton yarn on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in October, Trend reports with reference to exchange’s data.

During all four weeks of October, cotton yarn was sold on the stock exchange of Turkmenistan to a number of countries both in foreign currency and in Turkmen manat.

During the first week of October, the cotton yarn was sold in foreign currency to entrepreneurs from Russia, China, UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Kyrgyzstan, and in manat to entrepreneurs from China, UK, and UAE on Turkmenistan's exchange.

In the second week of October on Turkmenistan's exchange, businessmen from Azerbaijan, Russia, China, US, Germany, UAE, Turkey, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan bought cotton yarn in foreign currency, while entrepreneurs from UAE, Turkey, and Kazakhstan - in manat.

Businessmen from Azerbaijan, Russia, the US, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan bought cotton yarn in foreign currency, and representatives of the UAE, Turkey, and other countries purchased cotton yarn in manat on Turkmenistan's exchange.

As for the last week of October, cotton yarn was sold to representatives from the UAE in both foreign currency and Turkmen manat on Turkmenistan's exchange. At the same time, Turkish businessmen bought cotton yarn in foreign currency, and representatives of Afghanistan - in manat.

The state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
