Industrial enterprises to be launched in Iran's Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Province

As many as 20 industrial enterprises will be put into operation in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (western Iran) by the end of the current government in Iran (August 2021), an official of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the province, Behnam Khosravi said, Trend reports citing the organization.

Khosravi noted that a total of 8 trillion rials (about $190 million) was spent on these enterprises.

He added that 320 people will be employed with the launch of these enterprises.

The official emphasized that one of these enterprises under construction is the steel ingot plant of Sefid-Dasht Steel Company. There is 80 percent progress in the construction work of this plant.

According to Khosravi, 800 billion rials (about $19 million) have been spent on the construction of the plant. And 70 people will be employed with the launch of plant.

There are currently about 950 industrial enterprises operating in Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. About 36 of them are large enterprises and work more than 100 people in these enterprises. In addition, about 50-100 people work in 32 enterprises. And the rest are small enterprises.
