Private construction companies completed 87.5 percent of the total construction work in Baku from January through November of 2020, Trend reports referring to the Baku City Statistical Department.
According to the source, 65.8 percent of the work, performed by construction companies, fell on construction, reconstruction, and expansion in the reporting period, 6.5 percent - on capital, 5.6 percent - on current repairs.
The volume of other construction work was 22.1 percent.
In 2019, private construction companies completed 81.2 percent of the total construction work in Baku. Meanwhile, 68.2 percent of the work performed by construction companies was construction, reconstruction, and expansion, 7.9 percent - for major repairs, 4.7 percent - for current repairs, and 19.2 percent - for other types of construction work.
