Turkmenistan - supplier of polymer products for Russian plant

Turkmenistan supplies raw materials for the operation of a plant for the manufacture of polypropylene products in the city of Ust-Labinsk in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, Trend reports with reference to “Living Kuban” Krasnodar Krai’s online diary.

In particular, the raw materials supplied from Turkmenistan to the Russian plant are polymer balls.

The plant will produce bags designed for packaging sugar, flour, salt, starch, dry feed, and building materials.

In addition, the plant is designed for the manufacture of polyethylene film, which can be used in horticultural works in construction, for thermal insulation and waterproofing of the roof, when laying the foundation, and protecting structures from premature corrosion.

As was reported earlier, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Russia increased by 2.7 times during 1H2020, compared to the same period of 2019.

The trade turnover between countries amounted to $1 billion million in 2019.
