Review of Georgian exports to China

Georgia exported 266,341 tons of copper to China worth $393.6 million in 2020, Trend reports referring to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

In the reporting period, Georgia exported 3,490 tons of wine of fresh grapes worth $13.2 million to China.

Meanwhile, 33.8 tons of medical equipment and appliances worth $9.2 million were exported from Georgia to China.

During the reporting period, Georgia exported 3,041 tons of aluminum in the amount of $4.4 million to China.

Georgia also exported 13,245 tons of precious metals and concentrates worth $38.8 million to China.

During the reporting period, Georgia exported products worth $476.2 million to the Chinese market, which is 14.3 percent of total exports from Georgia.

Meanwhile, China's exports to Georgia amounted to $708.7 million, which comprises 8.9 percent of total imports to Georgia.
