Kazakhstan boosts petroleum oils exports to Poland despite COVID-19

Kazakhstan has exported 3980,135 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 101.9 million euros to Poland in November 2020, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s exported 2.5 million tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 762.03 million euros to Poland from Jan. through Nov. 2020.

Thus, the November volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to Poland is 40.8 percent more compared to October 2020 (282,659 tons) and is 39.8 percent more than in Jan. 2020 (284,719 tons).

November export value is also 43.3 percent more than in October 2020 (71.1 million euros) and is 17.1 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (123.1 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Poland amounted to $574.2 million over the first 11 months of 2020, compared to $750.7 million during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to Poland amounted to $292.5 million over the period from January through Nov. 2020, compared to $443.2 million during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Poland amounted to nearly $281.6 million over the reporting period, compared to $307.4 million during the same period of 2019.
