Iran declares details of export-import through Ilam Province

Iran exported 1.05 million tons of goods worth $526 million through the customs of Ilam Province (western Iran) in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

According to the report, the exported products were mainly ceramics, vegetables, metals, rubber and petrochemical products, automobiles and their spare parts and etc.

“In addition, 963 tons of goods worth $10.2 million were imported through the customs of Ilam Province in the last Iranian year,” the report said.

At the same time, about 55,100 people crossed the Mehran border checkpoint in Ilam Province, the report said.

According to the report, moreover, 79,200 tons of goods were transited by 1,720 trucks through the customs of the province.

“The province's customs revenues amounted to 211 billion rials (about $5.02 million) in the last Iranian year,” the report said.
