Car manufacturing of the Saipa Group decreased by 12.6 percent in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), compared to the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 through March 19, 2020), reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.
According to the report, the Saipa Automaker Company manufactured a total of 317,321 cars in last Iranian year.
“So, the company manufactured 50,413 units of Pride, 236,939 units of Tiba, 10 units of KIA Cerato, 124 units of Ario, 290 units of Changan CS35 cars and 27,455 pickups last year,” the report said
The Saipa Company also manufactured more than 1,700 Shahin cars for the first time, the report said
According to the report, Saipa Company exported 362 cars to other countries in the last Iranian year.
Reportedly, in general, more than 900,000 cars were produced in Iran by three major automaker companies (Iran Khodro, Saipa and Pars Khodro) in the last Iranian year. This is an increase of 4.33 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year.
