Car manufacturing of Iran's Saipa Group increased by 193 percent in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021), compared to the same month of the last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.
According to the report, the Saipa Automaker Company manufactured a total of 21,394 cars in the first month. While in the same month of the last Iranian year, the company had manufactured 7,304 cars.
So, the company manufactured 1,644 units of ‘Pride pickup’ over the 1st month. While in the same month of last Iranian year, this figure was 500 units.
In addition, 18,965 ‘Tiba’ cars were manufactured at the company during the 1st month. However, the company had manufactured 11,650 ‘Tiba’ cars in the same month last Iranian year.
The manufacturing of "Shahin" car, one of the new cars of Saipa Automaker Company, was 785 units in the first month.
The company sold 24,253 cars worth 21.9 trillion rials (about $523 million) in Iran within the first month of the current Iranian year.
