The volume of produced goods and services from January through April 2021 in Baku amounted to 12 billion manat ($7 billion), Trend reports on May 27 referring to the City Statistical Department.
According to the source, 76.4 percent of the products were produced in the mining industry, 20 percent - in processing, 2.9 percent - in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, 0.7 percent - in water supply, waste treatment, and recycling sector.
The share of the non-state sector in the total production volume equaled 83.9 percent, while the share of industrial products amounted to 90.1 percent, and industrial services – 9.9 percent.
As of May 1, 2021, a stock of finished products in the warehouses of industrial enterprises amounted to 340.6 million manat ($200.3 million).
The warehouses of industrial enterprises also store products purchased from other enterprises and intended for resale in the amount of 79.9 million manat ($47 million).
The volume of industrial goods and services in Baku over 2020 amounted to 29.7 billion manat ($17.4 billion), down 4.8 percent compared to 2019.
