New jobs to be created in Iran

In total, 2.3 million new jobs will be created in Iran with the launch of enterprises under construction, Iranian Deputy Interior Minister Babak Dinparast said, Trend reports citing ISNA.

According to the deputy minister, this will be possible with the launch of 3,850 enterprises. There is a total of 80 percent physical progress in the construction work. Some 18.5 trillion rials (about $440 million) more is needed to complete the construction.

Dinparast added that there are currently 76,800 enterprises under construction in Iran. In general, 120 quadrillion rials (about $2.85 trillion) should be invested in these enterprises.

“The first unit of the glass bottle production plant in Urmia will start operating in the next 20 days. A total of 10 trillion rials (about $238 million) has been spent in this regard. And as a result, 400 people will be employed. In addition, 800 more people will be provided with jobs after the launch of the second unit of this enterprise,” he noted.
