Iran launches numerous industrial enterprises in Yazd Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Aug. 23

In general, 26 industrial enterprises in the Yazd Province (central Iran) were put into operation in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2021), said the Chairman of the Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of the Yazd Province, Mohammad Reza Alamdar Yazdi, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

“A total of 1.27 trillion rials (about $30.2 million) has been spent on these enterprises and as a result, 217 people have been employed,” the chairman noted.

Alamdar Yazdi added that moreover, 221 enterprises in the province were licensed to be setting up in the 4th month. A total of 93.5 trillion rials (about $2.23 billion) is to be spent on these enterprises and 8,360 people are to be employed after the launch of the enterprises.

As reported, 123 industrial enterprises were put into operation in Yazd Province of Iran during the first four months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through July 22, 2021). About 15.8 trillion rials (about $377 million) have been spent on these enterprises in total and 1,870 people have been employed as a result.
