Iran’s Saipa Group’s various vehicles manufacturing increased by 6.2 percent, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
According to the statistics, the company has manufactured a total of 283,593 various vehicles within the mentioned period.
Over 8 months, Iran’s Saipa Company manufactured 244,048 passenger cars, which is an increase of 8.1 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
In addition, 38,782 pickups were manufactured by the company in eight months. Pickup manufacturing decreased by 4.9 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
"The Saipa has also manufactured 113 vans and 650 trucks and trailers during the reporting period. This shows an increase of 113.8 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the statistics said.
Meanwhile, in the 8th month of the current Iranian year (October 23 through November 21, 2021), the company manufactured a total of 37,315 various vehicles, which is 21.8 percent more than in the same period last Iranian year.
In total, 651,408 various vehicles were manufactured in Iran in the first 8 months of the current Iranian year. This is an increase of 4.7 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
