Kerwenler, an individual enterprise in Turkmenistan’s Akhal region, exports its products to Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports via Rysgal newspaper.
The company, equipped with cutting-edge technology, began operations in April 2020. The enterprise, which consists of spinning and weaving workshops, has a monthly capacity of around 13 tons of woolen yarn.
The spinning mill manufactures high-quality sheep wool yarns as well as polyester-doped wool yarns. Turkmen carpets made from pure wool are popular for export.
The weaving shop produces kilims (hand-woven double-sided rugs), bedspreads, 100 percent wool and semi-wool blankets, and other high-quality blankets. The company has the ability to produce 10,000 woolen blankets per month.
Today the company delivers its products to various shopping centers throughout the country. In the future, the company plans to expand its range of products.
