TEHRAN, Iran, Apr. 5. A member of the Program and Budget Commission of the Iranian Parliament Mohsen Zanganeh said the current administration allocated about $40 billion worth of credit to improve people's livelihood and for housing projects as well, Trend reports citing IRNA.
According to the current budget bill, the administration has allocated over $40 billion of credit to people's livelihood improvement plans, in addition to over $17 billion of credit allocated for monthly payments of cash subsidies.
Zanganeh noted that the administration was obliged to keep the
price of basic goods constant.
“In addition, €3 billion has been allocated to housing construction
projects, from the source of oil revenues,” he said.
According to Iranian MP, there are 90,000 semi-finished construction projects in the country, 80,000 of which are provincial projects.
