BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Iran's foreign debts amounted to about $8.89 billion from the beginning of the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021) to the end of the 11th month (February 19, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
According to the statistics, Iran's short-term debt stands at about $2.6 billion, while the long-term is at about $6.3 billion.
In terms of euros, Iran's foreign debt amounted to 7.83 billion euros within the mentioned period. Of this, 2.29 billion euros is short-term debt, while 5.54 billion euros is long-term debt, the statistics said.
"Over 11 months (March 21, 2021, through February 19, 2022), Iran's non-oil exports amounted to about 113 million tons worth $43.5 billion, while imports amounted to 36.8 million tons worth $46.6 billion," the statistics said.
