TEHRAN, Iran, May 17. Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company is planning to export steel ingots and other finished products, the Deputy Commercial Manager at Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company Hossein Shahmoradi told Trend.
He pointed out that a total of 95 percent of the company's products are being sold domestically and the rest are being exported.
"The company is seeking to export finished products such as steel ingots. It can export its surplus products yet it is only able to return a small portion of its export revenue," he said.
According to the official, a major part of the company's products is exported to China and the company's export policies are in line with the government regulations.
Iran's export in the mining sector declined to 350,000 tons of pellet in the last three months of the last year (started March 21, 2021) due to pellet and concentrate shortages and the rise in global prices.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company is located in the Golgohar region of Kerman Province, the company is one of the largest producers of pellet and iron ore in Iran.
