TEHRAN, Iran, May 31. The Deputy Governor of West Azerbaijan Province for Economic Affairs Nader Sadeghi said during the recent visit of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi to the province, the administration allocated $5.9 billion to increase production and job creation, Trend reports citing IRNA.
According to Sadeghi, the credits allocated to the province are spent on restoring of semi-active production factories.
"The credits are allocated to various economic sectors, including industry, mining, tourism, and startups,” he said.
The official went on to note that 90 manufacturing factories were restored during the last Iranian year (started March 2021, ended March 2022).
