BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. Iran exported 681,000 tons of goods worth $233 million to member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), as was reflected in the statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Trend reports.

According to the report, Iran's exports to the EAEU member countries decreased by 11 percent in value, while increased by 4 percent in volume, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

Among the EAEU member countries Russia ranked first place in both imports from Iran and exports to it.

Iran exported 303,000 tons of goods worth $115 million to Russia in 3 months, which is a decrease of 16 percent in value, with no changes in volume, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

Iran's imports from EAEU member countries for three months amounted to 748,000 tons worth $464 million, which is an increase of 34 percent in value and 32 percent in volume, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

Iran imported 586,000 tons of goods worth $394 million from Russia in 3 months. This is an increase of 23 percent in value and 14 percent in volume, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
