BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 8. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Markazi Province in the center of the country, increased by 15 percent in value and 4 percent in volume, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through March 20, 2023), compared to the preceding year (March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022), Director General of Markazi Province Customs Office, Alireza Sadeghifar told ISNA, Trend reports.

“Overall, more than 1.57 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $1.05 billion were exports via the province’s customs in the last Iranian year,” he said.

Sadeghifar added that the province’s goods were exported to 88 countries, mainly Iraq, Afghanistan, Türkiye, Pakistan and Russia.

According to him, aluminum profiles and ingots, various hydrocarbons, chemicals and so on were the main goods exported via customs of the province for the reporting period.

Meanwhile, Iran exported over 111 million tons of non-oil products worth $48.8 billion within the first 11 months of the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023).

This is an increase of 12.2 percent in value, while a decrease of 1 percent in volume compared to the same period in the preceding Iranian year.
