BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. The non-oil exports from industrial parks of Iran’s Tehran Province in the north of the country, decreased by 9.66 percent in value, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), Director General of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization’s branch in Tehran Province, Sadegh Sadeghi said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

The director general noted that approximately 164 million euros worth of non-oil products were exported from the industrial parks of Tehran Province in the last Iranian year.

“Meanwhile, the value of non-oil exports from Tehran Province’s industrial parks amounted to 179 million euros in the preceding Iranian year,” he added.

Paying attention to the foreign investment in the province’s industrial parks, Sadeghi said that 7.2 million euros worth of foreign investment was attracted to the mentioned industrial parks for the last Iranian year, and 15 people were provided with jobs as a result.

The official also pointed out that research on the attraction of foreign investment in the province's industrial parks was conducted during the past 6 years, and 24 internal and external standard licenses were obtained in this regard.

There are about 6,000 industrial enterprises operating in the industrial parks of Iran's Tehran Province.
