BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 24. Azerbaijan plans to implement a project on expansion of tobacco processing using the capabilities of the existing tobacco processing plant in the territory of Gubadli district, a source familiar with the matter told Trend.
The project worth 1 million Azerbaijani manats, or $588,235 will provide ample export opportunities.
The state will create opportunities to privatize on existing processing plant. The project will benefit from preferential loan and investment promotion certificate.
Currently, there is a processing plant with an area of 1192 square meters in the Gubadli district.
There are more than 10 cigarette and fermented tobacco companies across the country.
