BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 17. Iran's total non-oil trade turnover with Germany amounted to 225,000 tons worth approximately $577 million, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2023), Trend reports.
As reflected in the data of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the trade turnover between the two countries increased by 18.5 percent in value, while decreasing by 15.5 percent in volume compared to the same period in the last year.
So, Iran’s the non-oil trade with Germany stood at 267,000 tons worth approximately $486 million in the same period of the last Iranian year.
The main goods traded between the Iran and Germany for 3 months were carpets, rugs, various agricultural and food products, various petrochemical products, industrial products, equipment and spare parts, generators, etc.
In the 3rd month of the current Iranian year alone (May 22 through June 21, 2023), the trade turnover between Iran and Germany was 141,000 tons worth approximately $267 million.
Overall, Iran's non-oil trade turnover amounted to 44.1 million tons worth $26.5 billion within the first three months of the current Iranian year.
