BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 19. The non-oil trade turnover between Iran and Kyrgyzstan amounted to 17,000 tons worth $19.1 million during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2023), Trend reports.
As indicated in the data of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran's non-oil trade with Kyrgyzstan for the reporting period increased by 28.1 percent in value while decreasing by 3.58 percent in value compared to the same period last year.
In the same period last Iranian year, the non-oil trade turnover between the two countries stood at around 17,700 tons worth $14.9 million.
Meanwhile, in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2023), Iran's trade turnover with Kyrgyzstan amounted to nearly 4,500 tons worth $4.47 million.
The main goods traded between Iran and Kyrgyzstan last year were petrochemical products, agricultural products, phosphoric acid, etc.
Overall, the value of Iran's non-oil trade turnover was $35.4 billion within the first four months of the current Iranian year.
