BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. Iran's total non-oil trade turnover with Germany was 290,000 tons worth $938 million during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2023), Trend reports.
As stated in the report of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the trade turnover between the two countries increased by 17.8 percent in value, while decreasing by 32 percent in volume compared with the same time last year.
So, Iran’s the non-oil trade with Germany stood at 428,000 tons worth approximately $796 million in the same period last Iranian year.
The main goods traded between the Iran and Germany for 5 months were carpets, rugs, various agricultural and food products, various petrochemical products, industrial products, equipment and spare parts, generators, etc.
In the 5th month alone (July 23 through August 22, 2023), the trade turnover between Iran and Germany was around 32,200 tons worth $186 million.
Overall, the value of Iran's non-oil trade turnover was over $43.5 billion within the first five months of the current Iranian year.
