ACCOUNTANCY CHAMBER REVEALS DEFAULTS IN ORPHANAGES

The Accountancy Chamber revealed some defaults in the in the orphanages, located in Baku, Ganja, Shaki, and Lankaran. The results of the audit were discussed at the meeting of the Chamber on Friday, Trend reports.

The key objective of the audit in the enterprises is to check up the use of the funds allotted from the public budget to the orphanages in 2003-2004. The data, entered the Accountancy Chamber, on the violations taken place in the orphanages also gave grounds to start the audit.

Thus, the audit revealed that sometimes foods with expired term of use were given to children and adoption rules of children were violated. The same time violations were clarified in the registration of humanitarian aid and the results of the expense items on purchases of clothes for children. The expenses for the maintenance of a child at the orphanage turned out lower than the average figure defines in this respect.

The Accountancy Chamber sent a notification on the results of the audit to the Education and Finance Ministries, as well as data about resolutions of the meeting to the Milli Majlis (parliament).
