The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry plans to commission the new inner-country bus station early 2006. The Transport Ministry told Trend at present a local company Arkon, a general contractor on the project, was involved in the construction work. For the time being the work is complete by 50%.
the new bus station will be placed between the 2nd circular road and �Motodrom’ motor-cycle racing track. The Ministry said that it will be a modern bus station delivering premium services. Under the project it is planned to establish platform, hotels, shops and different service facilities.
The construction of the facility will enable implement passenger transportation between Baku and regions beyond the capital. Thus, it will release the burden the in the center of Baku. There will be developed a transport scheme connecting with the new bus station.
