The international conference “Social Security of Labor Migrants under Globalization” completes its work on 9 September in Baku. The organizer of the 2-day conference is the State Fund of Social Security of Azerbaijan Republic (SFSS), the International Association of the Social Security (IASS), the International Association of Pension and Social Funds.
Presentation on introduction of information and communication technologies in social security, in particular pensions, various kinds of benefits took place.
The head of SFSS Salim Muslimov, representatives of IASS, the department of social insurance development and the state maintenance of the Health Ministry and Social Development of Russia, Department of Social Policy of the Council of Europe, the National Institute of Social Insurance (INPS) of Italy, as well as representatives of various organizations from Poland, Sweden, Great Britain, France, Holland, Germany and the MACO European regional office were present at the conference.
The goal of the conference is revealing and discussion of issues of the legal security means for social maintenance of working migrants and their families and other relevant issues.
Signing of the resolution on the proportional distribution of the pension system among the participating in the event countries on the results of the conference is planned.
