Azerbaijan and Turkey are expected to grant a long-term credit to Georgia with taking into account returning its debts arising from conveyances. The whole volume of means received from the conveyances excepting operation expenses will be sent to the repayment of the credit, said Musa Panakhov, the first Deputy Azerbaijan`s Transport minister, Trend reports.
That is a normal way. The credit is long-term, but, since the project is economically highly remunerative, the pay-back period will not be so long. Within not more than 10-12 years, the pay-back will be provided, said Mr. Panakhov. The rates will be counted on the basis of the existing rates on conveyances in Georgia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. The rate will be fixed on this basis, and then agreed.
All the documents are expected to be signed till the end of the year in order to launch construction works in the beginning of the next year.
